The Traditional Rulers (Restitution of Assets and Properties) Act 1993 (Ch 247) lists the properties below as those assets to be restored to Buganda ‘s traditional leader. The “Akenda” and all that it represents in reality is none of those properties. Just for your information.

The title ought to be Buganda’s land assets since Buganda has some other assets that have been annexed by the central government.
May I remind you that even the turbines that once ran at the now defunct Owen falls dam were bought by Buganda money-that is why Buganda is at odds with the administration for killing such a vital revenue generating machine without thought or proper compensation for those who commissioned and bank rolled it.

Tendo Am a Muganda and may i ask how has these so called Buganda assets impacted on my life as a Muganda….. if it has not only been used by the so called Buganda kingdom members. how many times have we gone to mengo asking for jobs and the jobs are given to only the people close to the king,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, are we not baganda.
two the buganda agreement of 1900 that was signed by our so called wise men killed us and lets have it in our minds that we sold our assets when we signed that agrement what so ever museveni and his government has given back to us we shold be very greatful…………
